We are currently serving all of Vancouver Island and surrounding areas. We are eager to tackle your Spray Foam project. The main areas of our focus are Commercial, Residential and Industrial. However, regardless of the application and however large or small your project may be we are here to serve with your spray foam insulation needs!
We at EcoTek uses Polar Foam 7300 SOYA (this product meet or exceed CCMC industry standards) as preferred products. Please see the link above for product data and specifications.
We also use Sprayed Thermal Fibre Insulation, this product is typically applied (but not limited) to the underside of concrete slabs within parkades/parking garages. We offer the supply and installation of ‘Thermacoustic TC-417’. This product also meets requirements as an alternate product wherever ‘Monoglass’ is specified.
We thrive in the commercial sector! Condominiums, Apartments, High Rises, Airports, Public Services, Warehouses and more. We at EcoTek know how to ‘walk the commercial line’ and ensure standards are met including code, safety, schedule and warranty requirements.
No project is too small or too big! We work closely with you to meet your needs and ensure that you are educated and confident in our service and products. From that small drafty crawl space or attic to your custom, high end home you can rely on EcoTek Spray Foam.
Spray Foam has its place in the Industrial sector too! Workshops, Garages, Shipping Containers, Job-site Offices, Cargo Trailers and more. We can provide versatile service to suit your needs.
SPF applications are limitless. Insulate commercial walk-in refrigeration and freezer units, Boat/Vessel Hulls, marine floatation docks, spas/hot tubs and even sound proofing for your new home theatre or recording studio (using 1/2lb OC foam). Suggest your own unique application and we can help determine if SPF is right for you!
Spray Foam is extremely versatile and can be used in numerous ways for different applications.
One of the most common applications for Spray Foam Insulation is interior wall and stud cavities. See below image of a typical wall cavity detail with spray foam insulation.
Commonly used more and more for exterior envelope applications to complete an efficient,weather/air barrier. Used to its full potential on masonry cladding envelope systems!
Many modern projects are using exterior spray foam insulation in conjunction with interior spray foam insulation to gain maximum performance and most effective envelope seal (using spray foam can eliminate the need for over complicated weather-proofing details, flashings and self adhered membranes).
Typically being poorly insulated, cold and damp crawl spaces and basements are an ideal candidate for Spray Foam Insulation.
Using Spray Foam on your concrete basement walls will also seal cracks and prevent water ingress due to Hydrostatic Pressure – See Basement Waterproofing.
Heat rises! Don’t let your expensive heat escape by having a thermally inefficient roof. Not only will attic spray foam insulation keep heat in your conditioned space but it will also prevent condensation on the underside of your roof (caused by hot air meeting a cold roof).
Applying 3lb Spray Foam to the exterior of your roof is the most effective way to provide a monolithic (seamless) water and vapour barrier whilst gaining the highest R-Value possible! Click on the image below for a larger view.
Eliminate cold floors by installing on grade Spray Foam. SPF can also be used in a radiant floor system to maximize on the efficiency and maintain the heat within the floor and conditioned space. Click on the image below for a larger view.
